I have always had a passion for dogs ever since I was little and it has only grown. I have previously attended CATCH Canine Trainers Academy and graduated the Master Class September 2025, earning the title of CATCH Certified Dog Trainer (CCDT). Over the last five years while working on my education, I've worked as a Veterinary Assistant at the Interstate Veterinary Hospital, now St Croix Veterinary Center. I still work there, and I love it. One of my favorite things about veterinary medicine is communicating with fearful dogs and making them feel safe by communicating with them the way THEY do, not with a human approach. Now that I've finished school with dog training, I will still be with St Croix Veterinary Center part time due to my love for the clinic and am now nurturing my love for training in building my own business, Sand of the C Dog Training! I want dog owners out there to know that at the heart of my business are my best friends who helped me get here: Chase and Sandy. They were my student dogs and have learned lots with me. Chase is the little spotted dog that you see in the pictures, and Sandy is the girl with big ears. Sadly they are not physically with me anymore as they have both crossed the rainbow bridge... so I hope to strongly carry on their legacy. The little German Shepherd you see in the pictures is my newest addition to the family. Her name is Timber, and she is smart as a whip! Altogether, I’d really like to emphasize that who I am as a dog trainer is a person with heart, knowing how it feels to be so deeply connected with a dog, and I want that for you too. I hope to help create a happier relationship for you and your dog, and a thriving potential for your dog’s life!
